Mycelium-Muush
AMADEU features Muush, a next-generation mycelium-based biomaterial developed at the intersection of nature, science, and biotechnology. As the first company in Latin America — and one of only a few worldwide — to produce this type of material, AMADEU advances circular solutions that redefine the future of materials.
Muush is a mycelium-based biomaterial , vegan, biodegradable, and fully circular material grown from natural fibre residues, transforming waste into high-value applications through a low-impact, regenerative process. Its production requires minimal water and energy, involves no pesticides or heavy metals, and operates within a zero-waste system, where all by-products are reintegrated into the growth cycle.
Beautifully designed as an alternative to both animal leather and fossil-based materials, Muush combines premium aesthetics with durability, lightness and versatility.
The material is available in mycelium sheets — with or without textile backing — as well as in solid forms for applications across fashion, accessories, footwear, interiors, furniture and packaging.

Muush has already been applied in a wide range of developments, including bags, accessories, lighting, furniture surfaces, wall and ceiling coverings, and protective packaging solutions. The material is patented and has been recognised with the iF Product Design Award.
Aligned with regenerative principles, Muush reflects AMADEU’s commitment to advancing materials that integrate performance, design and environmental responsibility. The company is a certified B Corp and is currently pursuing biodegradability and cradle-to-cradle certifications for Muush.
