AMADEU is proud to introduce LaVeg™, a premium biomaterial made from natural rubber and cotton. LaVeg™ is a vegan, biodegradable, plastic-free, and recyclable product made from responsibly sourced materials.
Its waterproof laminated rubber surface has the luxurious look and feel of leather, with the desired smoothness, thickness, and durability needed for fashion, accessories, footwear, and furniture design.
It comes in a variety of colours, textures, and thicknesses, with bespoke finishings available upon consultation.
Our pigments are non-toxic and 100% absorbed by the rubber, which means no liquid residues are discarded in nature. We work according to the ISO 140001 Environmental Management standards.
AMADEU sources the natural rubber used in the production of LaVegTM from rubber trees located near our Brazilian factory, lowering the carbon footprint associated with transporting materials. This reduces our impact on the environment and our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, whilst helping transform the lives of local producers in the area.
LaVeg™ is the result of years dedicated to product research and is now ready to be brought to the market with unique production technology. The product is available in rolls and production is on demand, which helps reduce waste in the Fashion industry.
